Mind the sun circle! Even with 36° outdoors it never gets too hot in a yurt that has two windows and a top dome that you can lift some centimetres, so that insects and the air can exit. But there is one spot – the direct sunlight falling through the 1,40m diameter dome – that is too hot. And forget about things like editing photos even on a high quality screen. At daytime there is just too much light in a yurt with three windows, a bright wooden floor (spruce) and bright canvases on the inside (linen). And get used to not to be disturbed by the early, intense light of the morning.

All the other summer program in the yurt then is pure fun. Getting out in the morning to have a cold shower next to the terrace, dancing inside with the doors open by night, eating chilli peppers (with eggs) all day. Feeling like Pachamama’s preferred child…
